The ABD Group Presents Its 2025 Annual Report and Social Impact Report: A Network That Supports and Transforms

A strong commitment to social innovation, international outreach, and the promotion of human rights has consolidated the ABD Group as a leading third-sector organization and a key driver of social transformation.

More than 130,000 people supported, 164 services and programmes, a network of 2,355 professionals, and 494 volunteers and collaborators. These are just some of the figures that reflect the ABD Group’s impact in 2025. But behind every number lies something even more important: a network that defends rights, creates opportunities, and supports people throughout their life journeys.

The 2025 Annual Report and Social Impact Report reflects a year marked by growth, innovation, and a strong commitment to people. The ABD Group has further consolidated its position as one of Spain’s leading social organizations with an international presence, ranking among the 25 NGOs with the highest number of active European projects and among the country’s leading non-profit organizations in this field.

Throughout the year, we continued to drive pioneering initiatives such as ATENEA AtDom, which uses artificial intelligence to enhance home care services, and integrated the La Meva Energia app into the Barcelona City Council’s Energy Advice Points. We also expanded our territorial presence through new services and strengthened our advocacy at national and international levels, including within the United Nations. In addition, we introduced new awareness-raising initiatives, such as the podcast For the World We Want, and continued to advance our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children, adolescents, and people in vulnerable situations.

It was also a year of recognition, marked by milestones such as receiving the 11th Lluís Martí Award for the Jardí Fènix project, and of consolidating our role as a social observatory and a leading organization, building partnerships with companies, universities, and public and private institutions.

Throughout it all, we have remained true to our mission: supporting people in vulnerable situations to reduce inequalities, uphold rights, and strengthen communities.

The report highlights the organization’s impact across a wide range of areas, including drug use and addiction, HIV, homelessness, gender-based violence, mental health, poverty, children and families, dignified ageing, long-term care, energy justice, social and labour inclusion, and the fight against discrimination and stigma. During 2025, the ABD Group supported more than 15,000 people in migration contexts, delivered 1,379 workshops on addictions, digital wellbeing, emotional health, and sexuality for young people, provided support to 3,425 women and 501 children affected by gender-based violence, secured housing for 153 people experiencing homelessness and active substance use, and delivered 192,694 hours of home care to older adults, among many other initiatives.
