The ABD Group presents the 2023 Report

With more than 40 years of experience, the entity has reinforced its commitment to comprehensive care and effective management, highlighting its service model in different areas such as care for drug addictions, mental health, childhood, family, gender equality, dependency, intellectual disability, poverty and social exclusion

The ABD Group, a recognized player in the third sector, has presented its 2023 Annual Report, documenting a year of significant progress in the fight against social and health vulnerability. With more than 40 years of experience, the entity has reinforced its commitment to comprehensive care and effective management, highlighting its service model in different areas such as care for drug addictions, mental health, childhood, family, gender equality, dependency, intellectual disability, poverty and social exclusion.

During 2023, the main achievements of the ABD Group have been:

  1. Consolidation of our leadership in the public drug addiction care network
  2. Reinforcement of care services for victims of gender-based violence
  3. Extension of the coverage of child and family care services
  4. Promotion of social innovation in the field of dependency and intellectual disability
  5. Multiplication of resources to fight poverty and social exclusion

The economic volume managed reached 29,601,463 euros, reflecting its ability to manage public and private funds efficiently. This management has allowed the expansion of its programs and the consolidation of its leadership in numerous areas of social action.

Specifically, last year more than 102,410 people were served through 165 services and programs and more than 16,156 and 42,239 people were trained and sensitized respectively.

A global footprint

The organization has been an active part of more than 100 platforms at the local, national and international level, and has maintained its special consultative status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, which reinforces its influence and commitment at a global level.

In particular, it should also be noted that four ABD Group projects have been chosen in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union ‘Next Generation EU’ managed by the Department of Social Rights of the Generalitat of Catalonia.

With recognitions such as the Avedis Donabedian Award for Quality for its website, the “Rezero” 2023 Award for the promotion of the right to food with the ‘La Botiga’ program or the second Montserrat Roig Prize for Social Communication for its impactful campaign ‘The most expensive trip in the world’ with the international Cope&Hope project, the ABD Group continues to be a benchmark for quality, innovation and commitment in the social sector.
