The annual report of the Welfare and Development Association ABD is now available. During the year 2018, at ABD we have continued to pool collective efforts to improve the care and
attention to persons in a situation of social fragility.
During 2018 we have attended 113,817 people, which represents 17.5% more than in 2017. This task has been possible thanks to the work of 1,523 professionals and 453 volunteers. In addition, it is a satisfaction to see how the projection of the entity continues to grow with more than 120,000 visits to the website and with nearly one million people reached on social media.
We develop more than 80 programs, own and public procurement services, which are aimed at defending and guaranteeing the rights of people. In addition, our work is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) of the United Nations Organization. We are present with more than 100 participation platforms and we have trained more than 21,000 people.
In addition, we have set in motion our “road map”, which has a number of very clear strategic goals:
- Recognition
- Social commitment
- Quality and innovation
- Shared learning and management of the entity as a common asset
HORIZON 2019
We see many challenges on the horizon. For the year 2019, we want to take new steps and achieve a more attentive, flexible and transversal organisation that will promote innovation, analysis of the setting, constant communication, commitment of the volunteers and greater participation of the persons we support.
