The participant organisations and social enterprises learned to foster and promote digital change in their projects
On the 17th and 18th of october, The Welfare and Development Association ABD organised the training ‘Developing Organisational Digital Capabilities for Third Sector Leaders- GOVERNANCE AND STRATEGY FOR IMPACT and ETHICAL PRACTICES, within the framework of the european project EU3Digital.
The training, that took place in Barcelona, hosted representatives of the Third Sector Organisations, social enterprises and public administration professionals with experience in leadership, team management and organisation strategy, as well as people and organisations that are promoting changes and projects related to digital transformation.
The trainers -Carlos Azevedo and Luna Dabinovic-, provided digital tools to the organisations to work on strategic thinking, new ways of redesigning the organisational structure, as well as tools to measure, monetise, maximise and scale the organisation social impact.
Through group dynamics, the participants had to solve possible challenges together with practic cases and implement the provided tools.
EU3Digital Policy Paper
During those two days, a transnational partners’ meeting was also held with partner organisations from Portugal, Croacia, United Kingdom and the Netherlands to talk about the project implementation and the communications’ strategy to disseminate the project outputs as well as the upcoming activities.
In additional, the Policy Paper about Support for Digitalisation of Social Impact was launched, with recommendations for Third Sector Organisations to move towards digitalisation.
Soon, two more outputs from the EU3Digital project will be available in Spanish and Catalan: The Toolkit on Digital Skills and the Framework of Digital Competences for Third Sector Organisations and Social Enterprises.
EU3 Digital
The main goal of the EU3Digital is to empower Third Social Sector (TSS) organisations through digitalization. EU3Digital will develop a European Framework of Digital Competences (FDC) for Third Social Sector organisations and social enterprise leaders and professionals. The project will also promote online & offline training materials for professionals to assess their digital skills, and gather pre-existing training materials on TSS competences through an open-access online Knowledge Centre. EU3Digital will share its learnings in a Policy Paper, presenting to the European Commission what is important to know about digital skills in the European third sector.
The project, funded by the Erasmus+ KA204 Programme, and coordinated by Eslider Portugal (PT), will be carried out from November 2020 – April 2023 in partnership with the organizations Asociación Bienestar y Desarrollo ABD (SP), The Open University (UK), Universidade do Porto (PT), Volonterski centar Osijek (Croatia) and Euclid Network (BE).
