The project, of which the ABD Group is a part, promotes the “2nd Round of the Delphi Study” to advance towards quality standards in digital services for substance users.
The BOOST project is working to establish quality standards in digital harm reduction services, supporting community-based and community-led organizations in delivering effective and accessible services. These standards will guide the design, implementation, and evaluation of digital services, addressing key areas such as privacy, participant autonomy, inclusivity, and accessibility. Now, the BOOST program invites us to take part in the 2nd round of the Delphi study, where participants’ experience will be essential in developing and refining these standards, ensuring they are realistic to implement and impactful for organizations.
In the first round of the Delphi study, harm reduction experts provided insights on the relevance of a set of quality standards for service delivery. The results and feedback from that phase have been used to build this second survey, which focuses on assessing the importance of specific elements for digital harm reduction services.
In this survey, “elements” can refer to tools, procedures, design elements, or features that can be implemented in the organization or design of digital services. Examples include accessibility features, such as multilingual access, or security features, such as software with end-to-end encryption.
Experience in digital harm reduction services, harm reduction services, or digital service design is difficult to assess. By participating, you will contribute to defining quality standards for digital services such as e-health, mobile health, telehealth, and the use of digital technologies to support people who use drugs.
Survey details:
- Estimated time to complete: 15-20 minutes
- It can be complete in multiple sessions if necessary.
- Deadline: February 3, 2025
Take part in the survey and help define quality standards that will transform digital harm reduction services!
