A series of online seminars will be held between February and March within the framework of the international project <\/span>LILA<\/b><\/a>. The trainings aim to create a platform of dialogue and exchange of good practices among professionals working with women and girls victims of gender-based violence (GBV) and\/or trafficking, and their children, as well as to provide tools to increase their capacity to support the survivors.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Programa<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The <\/span>first training<\/b> will take place on the 22nd of February from 9 am to 2 pm CET<\/strong> and it\u2019s organized by Payoke<\/a>. With the title <\/span>Don\u2019t call them loverboys; they\u2019re traffickers Human trafficking through coerced trauma-bondings<\/b><\/em> it will cover the challenges in the identification of victims of teenage pimp\/loverboy trafficking, main steps in loverboy recruitment; legal assistance, investigation and the factors impacting victims\u2019 willingness to report and good practice on protection and identification of VOTs, among other topics. It will be delivered by Steve Gorelashvili & Audrey de Bock, Psycho-social counselors; Prof. Silvia Tabusca, Law Lecturer at the Romanian-American University, School of Law, Director of the Center for Human Rights and Migration, and Frederik Dejonghe, Legal counselor, Payoke’s Loverboy THB Team and H\u00e9lo\u00efse Du Roy, Policy Advisor, Child Focus.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second training will take place on the 28th of February from 10 am to 12.30 pm<\/strong> and it will cover <\/span>The approach to gender-based violence in Catalonia. Intervention framework and specialized care service model<\/b><\/em> with the Director of the SIE Baix Llobregat (Specialized Intervention Service for women affected by GBV and their children), Maria Jes\u00fas Rodr\u00edguez Carrero, and organized by ABD<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It includes a presentation of the last modification of the law on the right of women to eradicate gender-based violence in Catalonia, the new framework protocol to address GBV of the catalan government, recovery of women and their children in the SIE and the territorial circuits for addressing GBV in Catalonia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the 2nd of March from 10 am to 12.30 pm<\/strong>, ABD organizes the third training session <\/span>Group and community intervention in situations of gender-based violence <\/b><\/em>with<\/span> Carolina Torralbo Mu\u00f1oz<\/span>, degree in <\/span>Social and Cultural Anthropology, diploma in Social Work, extensive training in Systemic Family Therapy and a Master in Group and Multifamily Interventions. She will talk about the current social indicators that led ABD to provide this kind of intervention, the principles of the intervention, the organization\u2019s trajectory and methodology applied, the action protocol when a risk situation is detected and some results. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACRA<\/a> organizes the fourth and fifth trainings on the 13th and 20th of March from 10.30 am to 1pm<\/strong>. With the title <\/span>From listening to the methodology of welcoming<\/b><\/em>, the trainers from CADMI: Casa di Accoglienza delle Donne Maltrattate Milano, will share the p<\/span>rograms aimed at supporting women by strengthening empowerment processes ( I module) and the programs aimed at supporting women by strengthening empowerment processes adopting intersectional approach in migration context (II module).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The last training will be held on the 30th of March from 9 am to 2 pm<\/strong> organized by Diotima Center<\/a> and it will cover the <\/span>Support to GBV survivors and refugees women through providing comprehensive support services, specialized psychosocial support, quality legal advice, and GBV prevention and response services <\/b>with Stella Saratsi, GBV Prevention Coordinator of Diotima Centre, Sissy Vazirgiantziki, Athens GBV Case Manager of Diotima Centre and Maria Apostolaki, Attorney At Law and Legal Services Coordinator of Diotima Centre.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trainers will cover the programs aimed at providing specialized psychosocial support to women refugees who are GBV survivors, programs aimed at providing specialized and quality legal advice for refugees women who are GBV survivors and good practices emerging from prevention groups via empowerment activities in refugee women who are GBV survivors. Community-based Programs to promote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the trainings are free and they will be held at CET Time through Zoom Platforms. They will all be delivered in English, except for ABD\u2019s trainings which will be in Spanish as well. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
