Partner organizations gathered in Amsterdam to plan next steps in the projec<\/h2>\n\n
<\/div>\n\n

On May 14 and 15, 2025, the partners of the <\/span>Home4Health<\/span><\/i><\/a> project met in person in Amsterdam for a key strategic meeting to shape the next phase of the initiative. During the two-day gathering, <\/span>ABD<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Crescer<\/span><\/a>; <\/span>HVO-Querido<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Cork Simon Community<\/span><\/a> worked collaboratively to define the work plan for the coming year, focusing on the development of the training program and related materials, the communication and outreach campaign, and the drafting of European guidelines addressing homelessness, substance use, and trauma.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

Participants also had the opportunity to take part in the\u00a0‘Amsterdam underground, stories from the stree<\/a>t’ tour, where a person who lived in the street guided the visitors around the city through his personal story.<\/p>\n\n

Home4Health<\/span><\/i> is a European initiative aimed at supporting civil society organizations, institutions, and public authorities in addressing the complex needs of people experiencing homelessness\u2014particularly those facing health-related challenges and trauma, such as addiction\u2014through socially inclusive approaches.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

The project also seeks to strengthen the capacity of organizations and training centers to meet labor market demands by responding to the urgent need for a shift toward inclusive socioeconomic systems in the post-pandemic context. This includes adapting to the growing complexity of professional skills required in the health and social sectors. By promoting the exchange of good practices at the European level, <\/span>Home4Health<\/span><\/i> aspires to expand professional development opportunities and enhance the effectiveness of support services for vulnerable populations.<\/span><\/p>\n\n

The meeting in Amsterdam marked an important step in reinforcing collaboration among project partners and aligning efforts to address some of the most pressing challenges in public health and social care.<\/p>\n\n
